Candle Care Tips

• When lighting for the first time, burn the candle until wax melts across the entire surface up to the sides of the vessel. This will prevent tunnelling and create an even burn for the duration of the candle's 'life'. This may take up to 2 to 4 hours, but never skip this step. It will make your candle last longer.
• Always trim your wick before each use at least 0.5 cm by removing all charred wood from previous burns. This extends the burn time of your candle. Lighting a wooden wick can sometimes be difficult. Keep the flame 10 sec at the wick until it lights up. Repeat if needed.
• Do not let your candle burn longer than 4 hours and do not let it burn all the way down. It is recommended to Leave 3 mm of the wax at the bottom.
• Burn your candle in a place with no wind or draft. Keep away from kids, pets and flammable products.
• Place your candle on heat resistant surface and let it burn within sight.
• Before lightning the candle for the first time, let it adjust to the room temperature.
• Do not forget to reuse the glass of the candle as a whiskey tumbler (or to enjoy a cocktail).
• At the bottom of the box you will find a personalized drink coaster. You can use it to protect your candle from dust when it is not burning. Later on, you can use it to enjoy your drink!
